Miracue is a teleprompter that runs in a web browser, made and operated by Lumira Studio Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15280964) and based in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. Using it means agreeing to these terms. They are written to be read, and they are shorter than most because the service is simple.
The service
Miracue lets you write, organise and read scripts, with or without an account. The teleprompter itself is free to use. Some features require an account. The shoot-day toolkit is part of Miracue Pro, a paid plan. The pricing page says what it costs and what it includes before anything is charged, and the refunds page says how a payment comes back.
Your account
An account is created with your email address, and you are responsible for what happens through it. Keep sign-in links, codes and device links to yourself; anyone who has one can act as you. If you believe someone else has access to your account, contact us and we will help you secure it.
Your content
Your scripts, notes and recordings are yours. You give us only the permission needed to store them, sync them between your devices, and show them back to you, which is the whole reason the service exists. We do not read, analyse, sell or use your content for anything beyond operating the service, and how content is stored and protected is described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Use Miracue for reading and producing your own material. Do not use it to store or distribute unlawful content, do not attempt to gain access to accounts or data that are not yours, and do not use the service in a way designed to disrupt it for others. We can suspend or close an account that does.
Availability
Miracue is provided as it stands. We work on it continually and we use it on our own shoots, so keeping it reliable matters to us in a direct way, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. Guest scripts live in your own browser, and we recommend keeping your own copy of anything a shoot depends on.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using or being unable to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending an account
You can stop using Miracue at any time. Ask us to delete your account and we will delete it along with everything in it, as the privacy policy describes. We may close accounts that break these terms, and where reasonable we will say why.
Changes
If these terms change, the change will be dated here, and a change that matters will be noted on the What's new page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form or to [email protected].
